Day 1: Arrival in Vientiane

Welcome to Laos! Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, allowing you to relax and acclimate to the charming atmosphere of Vientiane. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 2: Vientiane – City Tour & Luang Prabang (Flight)

After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of Vientiane. Visit the historic Wat Sisaket, famous for its thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple, Wat Prakeo, which once housed the Emerald Buddha. Capture photos of the impressive Patuxay Monument, reminiscent of the Arc de Triomphe, and visit the sacred That Luang Stupa, a national treasure. In the afternoon, fly to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. After check-in, explore the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the serene shrines of Wat Aham and Wat Mai. Climb Mount Phousi for panoramic views of the city and the Mekong River at sunset, followed by a visit to the vibrant Night Market, where you can shop for unique handmade textiles. Overnight in Luang Prabang (Breakfast included).

Today, enjoy a guided tour of Luang Prabang’s oldest temples, including Wat Sene and the exquisite Wat Xiengthong, a hallmark of classical Laotian architecture. Set sail on the Mekong River for a scenic cruise to the enchanting Pak Ou Caves, filled with thousands of gold-lacquered Buddha statues left by pilgrims. Along the way, visit the village of Ban Xanghai, known for its rice wine production, and explore Ban Phanom, famous for its hand-woven textiles. Overnight in Luang Prabang (Breakfast included).

Optionally rise early to participate in the traditional morning alms-giving ritual, where saffron-clad monks collect offerings from locals. After breakfast, visit the National Museum at the former Royal Palace, showcasing the richness of Lao culture. You’ll also have time to explore the Central Market. Continue to Khouangsi Waterfall, stopping at local villages of ethnic minority groups along the way. Enjoy the stunning beauty of the waterfall, where you can swim in the refreshing pools or stroll along forest trails. On the return journey, visit Ban Xangkhong, known for silk weaving and traditional Saa paper making. Overnight in Luang Prabang (Breakfast included).

Day 5: Luang Prabang – Departure

After breakfast, enjoy some free time to explore at your leisure until it’s time to transfer to the airport for your onward flight. End of Tour in Laos!
