Witness the daily activities of vendors, observe the variety of fresh produce, and learn about local ingredients. Your host will guide you through the market, explaining the different products and helping you select some key items for your cooking class.
Journey to a Hidden Village: After the market visit, you’ll be transported to a charming, less-visited local village, offering a glimpse into authentic Cambodian rural life.
Vegetable Farm Visit: Explore a local vegetable farm and gain insights into traditional farming practices. See how fresh produce is grown and learn about the importance of agriculture in the community.
Cooking Class with a Local Housewife: Arrive at a traditional home and be warmly welcomed by a local housewife. Under her expert guidance, you’ll participate in a hands-on cooking class, learning to prepare three authentic Cambodian dishes:
Starter: Fresh Spring Rolls or mangoes salad
Main Course: Lok Lak
Soup: Kako soup or sweet and sour soup
Fresh Fruit Platter: Enjoy a refreshing platter of seasonal fresh fruits while you cook.
Lunch: Savor the delicious lunch that you have prepared yourself, experiencing the satisfaction of enjoying the fruits of your labor.
Return to Hotel: After lunch, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Siem Reap, filled with the flavors and experiences of your culinary adventure.
