Laos Cultural Journey: Temples, Traditions, and Scenic Wonders

Today, enjoy a guided tour of Luang Prabang, starting with visits to the city’s oldest temples, including Wat Sene and the stunning Wat Xiengthong, known for its low-sweeping roofs that showcase classical Laotian architecture. Next, embark on a scenic cruise up the Mekong River, where you'll take in breathtaking views of the serene countryside and explore the intriguing Pak Ou Caves, home to thousands of gold-lacquered Buddha statues left by devoted pilgrims. We’ll make a stop at Ban Xanghai, a village known for its local rice wine production, before heading to Ban Phanom, famous for its exquisite hand weaving. Overnight in Luang Prabang (Breakfast included).

For those interested, an optional early start allows you to witness the unique morning ritual of saffron-clad monks collecting alms, a tradition exclusive to Laos. After breakfast, we’ll visit the National Museum located in the former Royal Palace, which houses a rich collection of artifacts reflecting Lao culture from the early kings to the last sovereign.
