Upon your arrival at Luang Prabang International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your expert guide, who will assist you with your private transportation to your selected hotel.

Day 2: Luang Prabang – City Tour and Pak Ou Caves

Today, embark on a guided exploration of Luang Prabang, starting with visits to the city’s oldest temples, including Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong, famous for its elegantly sweeping roofs that exemplify classical Laotian architecture. Next, enjoy a scenic cruise on the Mekong River, taking in breathtaking views of the serene countryside. You'll also explore the intriguing Pak Ou Caves, home to thousands of gold-lacquered Buddha statues left by devoted pilgrims. Along the way, we’ll stop at Ban Xanghai, known for its rice wine production, before heading to Ban Phanom, a small village renowned for its exquisite hand weaving.

For an optional early start, you can witness the unique morning ritual of saffron-clad monks collecting alms, a tradition still preserved in Laos. After breakfast, we’ll visit the National Museum, located in the former Royal Palace (closed on Tuesdays), which showcases artifacts reflecting Laos’s rich cultural history. There will also be time to explore the Central Market. We then continue our journey to Khouangsi Waterfall, stopping at local villages of various Lao ethnic groups, including Ban Ouay, Ban Ou, Laoloum, and Ban Thapene. At Khouangsi Waterfall, enjoy a refreshing dip in the pools or take a leisurely walk along the forest trails. On our way back to Luang Prabang, we’ll visit Ban Xangkhong, known for its silk weaving and traditional Saa paper making.

Day 4: Luang Prabang – Departure

After breakfast, enjoy some free time at your leisure until it’s time to transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
